I've been reading a wonderful Epic Fantasy novel…

Also, during my recovery I’ve been writing three novellas which I’m planning to feature in a Kickstarter in 2025, as part of the launch of Bigfoot and the Four Horsemen. Lord Armageddon and the Hellions has just come back from my editor, who is now editing Lord Armageddon and the Space Cadets. These stories, and the third I'm working on, will lead into my next Apocalyse Knot novel, which I haven't started working on yet.

What I’m reading in my spare time is Peter Sartucci’s novel, Light and Shadow. It is the first book of a series but can be read as a stand-alone. I’ve recently tended to re-read books, but I’ve a stack of books in my to read pile, which as I focus on writing I tend to see simply grow taller.

But, well, I’ve wanted to read Peter’s book for a long time. We’d been at a writer’s conference together before he published it. So, when it came out I had to buy it.

The world building is excellent, his magic system amazing and the story, well, and I've never read an epic fantasy like it. So, Peter Sartucci also has a trilogy in newly in print this year, which started out as fan fiction and begins with Wild Fire, which is considered by author S.M. Stirling to be canon for what happened in Denver, Colorado during his Dies the Fire Series (which happens to be a favorite series of mine).

My novel Knight of the Broken Table Book 1 of Knights Tower, is featured this month in the Fantasy and Sci Fi Series Sale. It is free in all epub formats except Kindle (hence, the great low price until the Amazon folks price match--which is something I've been waiting on for months now). The epub can be downloaded through multiple formats. Knight of the Broken Table is the first book in my Knight's Tower Series. Book two is Changeling Knight, followed by Knight’s Blood, which was released in the spring. The series appears to be fantasy to a certain degree, but is 100% sci fi--and is a terrific adventure with wry humor on a grand scale.
