Favorite Books I've Read Again...

I continue to recover…

and have been making very slow progress writing. That hasn’t hampered my reading at all, thankfully.

So, I’ve been reading favorites. Most recently, Lois McMaster Bujold’s Miles Vorrosigan novels like the Vor Game, Brothers in Arms, and Borders of Infinity. The books are classics and fun reads, reminding me why I love sci fi adventures, a la Space Operas, so much. But it’s the characters that make the books…. and I love Bujold's characters, who are unforgettable--and draw me back when times are tough.

Maybe that’s another reason I felt drawn to write my Knights Tower Series. My characters want to tell their stories, as do Lois McMaster Bujold’s, whose characters sort of leap off the page, playing before my eyes.

In light of that, my novel Knight of the Broken Table Book 1 of Knights Tower, is now featured in the Fantasy and Sci Fi Series Sale. It is free in all epub formats except Kindle (hence, the great low price until the Amazon folks price match--which is something I've been waiting on for months now). The epub can be downloaded through multiple formats. Knight of the Broken Table is the first book in my Knight's Tower Series. Book two is Changeling Knight, followed by Knight’s Blood, which was released in the spring. The series appears to be fantasy to a certain degree, but is 100% sci fi--and is a terrific adventure with wry humor on a grand scale.
