Yes, Highmage’s Plight is free on Kindle for the next few days. This is my first published novel, the first book in the complete seven book Plight series. We meet future archaeologist George Bradley, who finds an elvin town in Northern Europe and falls through a Gate into a world where magic defeated key laws of science.

Hunted by the Demonlord, George makes, uh, friends wherever he goes. You know to sort, trolls, a witch and her shapechanging beast, definitely bent on killing him as he searches for a way home. Oh, and his computer staff is now rather sarcastic, which is perfect as it seems everyone mistakes him for a mage.

George is a man with a destiny, if the world isn’t to fall into darkness. Then again, he only wants to go home. Welcome to his quest because George is about shake things up a bit, which neither the Demonlord, his minions, or elvin mages are going to like at all.
