Just Released -- Lessers Not Losers

When you were young, did you have a secret? You know, the kind where you know you’re special but no one else seems to? Or perhaps, you didn’t want to admit how special you really were?

Lessers Not Losers grew out of my short story Good Breeding, the first story I ever got published, which now appears in my collection, Crossroads of Sin and Other Stories, and expands my tale Bred in Captivity into this full length novel of, well, the origin story of superheroes on the run…

I’ve just released Lessers Not Losers exclusively on Kindle, which will be available shortly in paperback on Amazon.

About the story:

Eddy’s raised in an asylum for children with unusual talents. Those who are found to have useful gifts are said to graduate. Those who are found to have less useful gifts suddenly vanish.

Hiding the fact he can sort of fly isn’t easy for Eddy.

Like him, there are others who fear what may be planned for them and seek the opportunity to escape.

Carrie is secretly sort of telekinetic. Tease is being trained to twist minds and seems a failure at it. Youngest is Fin, a girl, who is subject to inexplicable spells. Once they are free—they will find themselves in a world where they are secretly being hunted by those who covet their powers.

Welcome to Lessers Not Losers, the first book of Bred in Captivity.
