Interested in a Free Story? Announcing Apocalypse Knot

To celebrate the release of Bigfoot is Not Your Friend (available for pre-order), I’m offering a free novella (available in epub and Kindle), which is a prequel to events in my new book. The novella Apocalypse Knot drew a little inspiration by my love of Orson Scott Card’s Ender’s Game. It is a great introduction to my satiric end of the world tale where teens may be humanity's last hope. 

I will be doing a reading to celebrate the launch of Bigfoot is Not Your Friend at Balticon on Monday morning, May 31, 2021, 10:30 a.m. EST. Balticon is virtual again this year—and free to attend. I’m currently scheduled for five panels over the course of the weekend. There will be scores of wonderful sci fi and fantasy authors, who will be talking about the genre and their craft.

Next month I will be at the Nebula Conference (virtually), which will be a first for me. That’s where the Nebula Awards for this year will be announced.
