Daring to Believe Black Friday Giveaways and Other News

It’s Thanksgiving and books one and two of my seven book Plight series, Highmage’s Plight , Merchants and Mages, and as of Black Friday Dare 2 Believe, are free on Kindle. That the two series are related, though Dare is more a contemporary fantasy and Plight is an epic, makes reading them both rather fun, if I say so myself—and the humor and satire of the Dare series… Well, I think a bit of humor mixed with mystery and adventure is a good thing…

This weekend, I’m a guest at Chessiecon. I’ve a reading and a Kaffeeklatch, which is an interactive session with a limited number of participants (in this case, 15) . The reading is scheduled for Friday night, November 27 at 8:30 p.m. EST (I’m scheduled for 30 minutes, but I may have the Zoom for an hour, which can offer me the opportunity to expand my reading and talk more with the audience). My Kaffeeklatch is scheduled for Saturday evening, November 28 at 8:30 p.m. EST.

I’m on a panel on the good and bad of book covers on Friday at 2:30 p.m. EST, and two panels on Sunday, one of which is a discussion of Star Trek Picard. The Trek geek in me is well, uh, geeking.

The Dragon’s Curse (novella), which is a lead-in to my Highmage’s Plight series and Hands of the Highmage series, and my newly released novella, Last Knight, prequel to Knight of the Broken Table, are available in a group promo, A Taste of Magic: Free Fantasy and Sci Fi Books. and for a few more days you can also find Grounding a Mockingbird in the November Sci-fi and Fantasy Giveaway.

Those on Kindle Unlimited, check out , Hang On For a Kindle Unlimited Blow-out!, which is featuring among their offerings my 2020 releases (until November 30): Knight of the Broken Table, Lessers Not Losers, and Nowhere to Go But Mars.
