Bigfoot Is Not Your Friend, the first book of the Apocalypse Knot series, is free on Kindle March 1 through the 5th. Welcome to the apocalypse that those preparing for the apocalypse didn’t get. One review says of the the series, “It’s apocalyptic escapism.”

So, what’s the number one question I’m asked about these books, you might wonder? I keep getting asked why do you write about Bigfoot?

My answer: “It’s Bigfoot.”

Look, I loved the Six Million Dollar Man episodes featuring Bigfoot that I watched as a kid. The fact Bigfoot was “bionic” was all the more fun for me. I love all the documentaries about Bigfoot and the questions they raise. I even remember hearing how a boy wanted to be like the Six Million Dollar Man so much, he kept swallowing change. He was a lot younger than me—but he got to meet Lee Majors, who had to show the kid he was just an actor. We all knew that—and that Bigfoot is real.

So, how could I not write about Bigfoot—well, an apocalypse full of them?
