Balticon over Memorial Day Weekend

I’ve been going to Balticon, for over ten years, which is held annually over Memorial Day Weekend (whether it’s been held only virtually or in person). This will be Balticon’s 57th conference. I will be on panels and in the Dealer's Room, where just as on the panels, I love talking about all things science fiction and fantasy. As soon as I have my schedule, I’ll post it.

What I love about Balticon is the relationships I've built over the years--and meeting and networking with great authors, editors, and the occasional agent. Though, I still don't have one. Of course, I love meeting fans and geeks like me, who love all things magic and out of this world. Last year, David Gerrold was there. He wrote the Star Trek episode Trouble with Tribbles and was selling lots of tribbles. I wasn't fooled, though, I didn't buy one. They kept making that annoying "I hate Klingon's sound." That's when I realized the Tribbles must think I was part Klingon--though, I don't speak a word of it...

This month I’m offering a number of free novellas and coupon for wonderful anthologies.

What makes the month a first is I’m offering a complete trilogy of novellas, basically an entire novel. You can get Apocalypse Knot, Little Apocalypse, and Apocalypse Nigh. They are prequels to my novels Bigfoot Is Not Your Friend and Bigfoot Hunting, in my Apocalypse Knot Series. You can find them featured in Science Fiction & Fantasy Reads. Oh, and, Grounding a Mockingbird and Dragon’s Curse (which had some glitch in a promo last month) are being featured in Spring in Full Swing Speculative Bash.

Add to that, I’ve a coupon for getting the four Particular Passages (ebook) anthologies, of which I’ve a short story, What Price Nevermore, in Volume 3, on Smashwords. With the coupon each book is only $0.99, but only with this coupon code until June 1st:
