Last Night, My Free Story of the Month!

last Knight, a prequel to my Knights Tower Series…

is my featured free story this month.

Knights Tower may appear based on its title as if it should be an epic fantasy. However, it’s science fiction, perhaps testing the question of when is science so advanced it appears magic. In this case, the Tower is on a mysterious planet in the future, on a world where technology is barred by Edict.

There are those who would do anything to enter the Tower. But the price is death except for those like Sir Harold of knights’ blood.

This is a world of the poor kingdom of Lasdrah, the only kingdom bordering the Forbidden, which is supposed to be guarded by the knights of the Order of the Broken Table and their allies—packs of legendary dogs rumored to be large and very intelligent.

The last knight of the Order, Sir Harold, who few respect, is the only one to turn to when, well, odd things happen like the Astrin Empire trying to quietly overthrow the kingdom or a monster makes its way out of the Forbidden.

I truly love writing this epic tale and am currently writing the fourth novel in the series, Knight Sky. Originally, I’d planned Knight Sky as a novella—but the characters seem to have other ideas. So, what was starting as a related novella is now an integral novel of the series. At the rate I’m going, the book should be ready for publication late next year.
